Sadabad is a town and a nagar panchayat in Mahamaya Nagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. As a part of " Brij Ksetra"( Land of lord Krishna), it enjoys the rich cultural heriatge.

History

"Sadabad" was a zamindari of Mahamaya Nagar Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] It is dynasty of Lalkhani Badgujar, Muslim Rajput community.[3]

As of 2001 India census[8], Sadabad had a population of 31,737. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Sadabad has an average literacy rate of 53%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 61%, and female literacy is 43%. In Sadabad, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age. It is approximately 35 km from Agra, The city of Taj Mahal, on National highway 93. Being a semiurban area, economy is based mainly on potato farming.

Caste Communities

Singhal, Pandit, Jats,Mahaur Kori and ThakurRajput, parashar Brahmin are found in large numbers in Sadabad.[9][10]

Some intermediate level colleges but no degree college. Many Public Schools Only One Girls Intermediate College (Agrasen Inter College) Currently some degree college also operate near city limits. Sadabad is mainly famous for the building materials shops suchas Guthera khad bhandar, sdkad, birla marbles,Parkh mobile,V.K IT Sqare (any problem in Desktop,Laptop&networking) store. Most of the things are available here. One comfort zone is for sadabad is that it locate in between 3 major cities of uttar Pradesh " Agra " ," Mathura" & " Aligarh"
